English Garden Inspired Styled Wedding Shoot

I had the honor to be asked to be a part of a styled shoot for Whole Hearted Events in Wilmington, NC. If the shoot is nearby I try to be there to style the flat lays myself. When I saw the list of talented vendors involved in this shoot, I knew it was going to be beautiful. And I got married at Airlie Gardens, so it has a special place in my heart!

I pack for a styled shoot in the same way I would pack a styling kit for a wedding. If I can get some sort of inspiration pictures ahead of time, like a Pinterest board, then that always helps! Hannah sent me over the Pinterest board for this particular shoot so I was able to really pair down what I was going to bring. I have a little box of small antique details that I bring with me everywhere so that always gets packed :) Then I try to fit the rest, excluding styling mats, in another small box. Remember, too many things to choose from will give you analysis paralysis! And you need all the time you can get on a wedding day. Here's what else I decided to pack:

- 3 Antique Ring Dishes
- 1 Spool of Ribbon and 1 Wooden Clothespin
- 1 Antique Gold Key and 2 Colored Tassels
- Antique Ring Boxes
- 2 Velvet Ring Boxes
- Stamps already picked out based on color
- Wax Seals
- Wax Seal Stamp

First, I see how everything fits into my box and then if I have room, I'll throw some other small items in it. I like to keep it simple! And once you add in fresh flowers, you don't need much!

Also, fun fact. I got married here at Airlie Gardens and it always has a special place in my heart. Especially around this time of year. There's something so magical about this place.
